Tom is an award winning, South Florida, Abstract Expressionist Painter.  Recent works that you will find on Tom’s  web site (www.tparkerart.com) are large, heavily textured works that are textured with acrylic paints, sand, rusted items and found objects.   Several pieces of work exceed 72” or 180cm  in height or width and are perfect for large walls. Tom's abstract expressionist influences are from such greats as Pollock, Rothko and de Kooning, and that  influence can be seen in some of Tom's work.   Tom's heavily textured, abstract expressionist art work can be found in several of South Florida's finest galleries.

While an artist his entire life, Tom has also held senior positions with major international pharmaceutical or biotech firms.
